| The
very heart of the Stein Inn ...
The
wood-panelled bar is a place for both visitors and locals to tarry over a
dram of Scotland's finest ... ... to chat about the spectacular scenery
viewed that day, or just to sit quietly by the smouldering peat
fire.
A
fine selection of whisky, wine, liqueurs, soft drinks and cask ales,
including the Stein Inn's very own "Reeling Deck" (brewed
specially by the award-winning Isle of Skye
Brewery), are available. The Stein Inn is
accedited by Cask
Marque, as well as being listed in both the Good
Beer Guide and the Good
Pub Guide.
The Inn has been recognised as a 'Whisky Embassy' by the 'The Scotch Whisky Tourism Initiative'. This award has been made to us by 'ScotlandWhisky' in recognition of our range and knowledge of whisky. 'ScotlandWhisky' is the national organisation dedicated to the promotion of Scotland and it's Whisky.
From 26th March 2006 in line with legislation the Stein Inn is non-smoking throughout the whole building. A small outside smoking area is provided at the rear of the building accessed through the pool room.
Just
one of the many appeals of the Stein Inn are the stunning views. On a fine
day, locals and visitors alike tear themselves away from the intimacy of
the bar to sit by the lochside and marvel at the spectacle of the Outer
Hebridean islands gently shimmering in the sunshine.
An
evening at the Stein Inn would be incomplete without drinking in one of
the stunning sunsets for which the area is renowned.
Light
lunches, bar snacks and home-cooked suppers are all available, wherever
possible using the finest local produce.
The
bar's usual opening
hours are:
A
thirsty traveller's Dream ... ...
