| Winter
at the Stein Inn can be just as enticing and enjoyable as the more popular
summer months. Truly a 'get away from it all' break, with no telephones,
no email, no TV and very few people.
Indeed,
some of those 'in the know' prefer to stay at Stein out of season. With
wild beauty in the storms interspersed with crisp, clear, beautiful days,
the weather often changes on an hourly basis.
With
a mild winter climate due to the Gulf Stream, Skye rarely suffers
prolonged or heavy snowfall and, indeed, frosts are somewhat of a rarity.
Being only 3 hours from Inverness airport means that you can enjoy a
remote location without the travel hassle of flying abroad.
Staying
at the Stein Inn out of season you can also take advantage of the '3
for 2 Special Winter Deal':- 3 nights
accommodation for the price of 2, when staying between November and
Easter.
Winter
Hours at the Stein Inn are 12pm 'til 11pm, with food served 7 days per week
from 5:30pm 'til 8pm (8:30pm at weekends). The menu is more limited than the
summer but still features quality local produce. The Stein's usual full
menu and hours are available between Christmas and New Year.
The
Inn is open every day of the year except Christmas Day and New Years Day.
B&B out of season is sometimes not available due to staff breaks, so
please check in advance.
